According to Bishop Myron Cotta, Bishop of the Diocese of Stockton, every parish in the Diocese of Stockton should have a Charismatic Renewal Ministry for the benefit of the Church and the people in the parish. Thus, St. Anthony Charismatic Renewal Ministry was established and lead by Deacon Ha Nguyen under the approval of our current Pastor, Rev. Yesobu Banka, in 2023.
 
In May 2023, Bishop Cotta held an Installation Mass at St. Anthony Church of Manteca to commission us and other officers of the Charismatic Renewal of the Diocese of Stockton. Since then, St. Anthony Charismatic Renewal Ministry has held the Charismatic Renewal and Healing Prayer Service on every third Friday of the month with the mission purpose of helping individuals rediscover the presence and power of the Holy Spirit in their lives, so that they might cultivate and apply their charism to evangelize, bear witness to God, build up the Church, and serve for the benefit of the people.
 
The St. Anthony Charismatic Renewal and Healing Prayer Service includes: 

• Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament
• Scripture and Reflection
• Praise and Worship
• Meditation and Contemplative Prayer
• The Laying On of Hands for Individual Prayer 

This service will give everyone, including teens and young adults, the opportunity to open up to the Holy Spirit and experience God’s presence.
 
It will help the people in finding comfort and peace in their minds and hearts, as well as growing and strengthening their spirituality, reconciling and deepening their relationship with God and developing a healthy relationship with one another. As a result, they will be transformed into better persons who are eager to bear witness to God and proclaim the Good News to everyone.  
Thus, as sons and daughters or God, you are invited to reap these benefits by attending the service at St. Anthony Charismatic Renewal and Healing Prayer Service:

Every 3rd Friday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the church.
