The mission of Life and Dignity is to witness, by word and action, to the teachings of Jesus Christ on the respect for the dignity of each human being from conception to natural death. As a faith community, we are called to recognize that every person is created in God's image and is created of inestimable worth. We are therefore challenged to promote and protect the inviolable right to life of all God's children, especially the most defenseless: " For whatever you do to the least of my brothers, you do unto me".

Our Goals:- The primary goal of the Life and Dignity ministry is to develop attitudes that respect life.
- Spiritual: To confirm the importance of prayer in the Life and Dignity movement.
- Educational: To build a Culture of Life by providing information on alternatives to euthanasia and abortion, support for Natural Planning, and chastity education. We also provide information on why we are against embryonic stem cell research and cloning.

Things we do:- Work closely with the Stockton Diocese Respect Life office.
- Attend the annual Respect Life meeting with the Bishop.
- Participate in the 40 Days for Life in Fall/ Spring by taking sign-ups for individual prayer or for a vigil at a Stockton/Modesto Planned Parenthood building.
- Participate in The San Francisco and/or Modesto Walk fr Life.
- During Respect Life month in October, we set up tables to provide Pro-life information to our parishioners.
