St. Anthony’s Soup Suppers - every Monday during Lent
Please come to the Cafeteria each Monday of Lent from 5:00 to 6:30 pm for a delicious Soup Supper! Each
Supper will be hosted by the Legion of Mary, so not only can you have a nice, satisfying bowl of
soup, you can pick up some literature about this very active Parish group. You may bring some
bread, wine, soda, etc to complement your meal. The first Supper will be held Monday, February
22nd. Volunteers are needed for set up & clean up... if you are interested in helping,
please call Rosemary at 607-0092. |

Community of Caring Parenting Classes
These classes will be held for pregnant & parenting teens (under age 21) & includes fathers-to-be & extended
family. They will be held March 11, 18, 25, April 8, & 15 from 6—7:30 pm. Participants earn baby clothes & supplies
by attending classes. Call the Respect Life Office for more information, 209-465-5433. |
The 7th Annual Adoration Retreat - March 13th
Please join us from 10 am to 4 pm in the Church for a day of spiritual enrichment. Events include a holy hour
with benediction of the Blessed Sacrament, the Rosary & Chaplet of Divine Mercy, as well
as several guest speakers. Lunch will be provided & the Sacrament of Reconciliation will be
available. For more information, please call Susan at 825-0371. There is no fee, but a
free-will offering will be taken. This retreat is open to everyone. |
Two Upcoming Fun Events at the MRPS Hall! - March 14th
Both events held Sunday, March 14th—133 N. Grant Ave. Manteca
1st Event: Pancake Breakfast served 7 am—12:30 pm. Donation is $7
for adults, $3.50 for kids 6—12. Five & under eat for free. Pancakes,
scrambled eggs, ham, juice, coffee & milk.
2nd Event: Bunco & Gil’s Card Party at 2 pm. Donation is $10 per person,
per activity. Games begin at 2:15 pm with prizes & raffle drawings.
Child care is available from 2 pm—5 pm in the Ballroom, $5 per child.

Annual Knights of Columbus & YMI Fish Fry - March 19th
The Knights of Columbus and the YMI will be having one more Fish Fry! The next one will be held
Friday, March 19th in the cafeteria. It starts at 4:30 pm and ends at 7:30 pm. Ticket prices are
$10.00 for adults and $5.00 for children & are available at St. Anthony’s Parish office. |
FESM Marinated Crab Dinner - March 20th
230 N. Main Street, Manteca.
Dinner Includes: marinated cold crab, salad, pasta, bread & butter,
ice cream
No-host cocktails: 5:30 pm / Dinner: 7:00 pm / Dancing: 9 pm—1 am.
Cost: adults: $40 / children 6—12 years old: $20.

Tulip Fundraiser - due by March 22nd
St. Anthony School is selling fresh cut tulips from Dutch Hollow Tulip Farm. Proceeds will benefit Preschool
Scholarships. Tulips are $10 for a bunch of ten. Orders with payment are due by Monday, March
22nd & tulips will be available for pickup on Thursday, March 25th. A sign up sheet is available in the
School Office, as well as the Preschool. For questions, please call 823-3959. |

Let’s Go To Thunder Valley Casino! - April 14th
The St. Vincent de Paul Society is hosting a bus trip to Thunder Valley Casino on April 14th. You will leave from
the front of the Church at 7:30 am & return by 4:30 pm. The cost is $25 per person; payment is
due by March 19th & you will receive $10 back for gaming, plus a $5 food coupon. You will also be
given a brown bag of goodies, water, orange juice & a chance to win raffle prizes. Please call Pete

Worldwide Marriage Encounter - April 16th - 18th
Couples can become so involved in the day-to-day concerns of life that they might lose touch
with each other & their married relationship. The WME Weekend helps a couple rediscover
each other. The next local WME Weekend will be held April 16 - 18 in Modesto. If that weekend
doesn’t work, other dates & locations are also available. For more information, or to register,
